On Sunday 2/24/08, we graduated 11 boy scout and cub scout leaders in the most recent Northstar Course. An action packed full weekend with the best comments being the Astronomy class taught by Randy Smith. Participants experienced camping by patrol, patrol spirit, cooking, wood tools, map and compass, first aid, ceremonies, campfire program, and knots and lashings.
This training is a necessity for Cubmasters, Webeloes Den Leaders and present Bear Den Leaders who will move to Webeloes next year. These leaders should consider this training in order to provide a program for growing boys and to help with the retention rate during the transition from Webeloes to Boy Scouts.

Experience the outdoors in a patrol setting. Learn basics of orienteering, first aid, camping, backpacking, cooking, and much more. This is not BALOO Training and will cover much, much more. Personal and patrol gear will be discussed at the Patrol Meeting on 2/8.
