Tejas District - Longhorn Council

All Scouting organizations are invited to attend a very special event at Sandy Lake Amusement Park. On May 29-30 we will be having our first annual Sandy Lake Fishing Expo. All Scouts are welcome to attend the event FREE of charge! You may come with your family or as a Troop. All you need to do to get in free is come in your uniform or email david [at] sandylake [dot] com for a free pass and the whole car load gets in free. Park entry and all fishing activities are FREE! All park amusements are available at regular prices.

Youth Group Leaders,

The Arlington Sportsman Club (ASC) is very excited about hosting the ASC Youth Day again this year. We have been making plans for some time now and have a club-wide work party scheduled to put the spring touches on the facility this weekend in preparation. The format will be about the same as previous years, just more of it: all shooting sports including archery, rifle, shotgun, black-powder, and bench rest. Of course, safety will be taught in each area.
