Tejas District - Longhorn Council

Cub Scout Pack 534 is chartered by the First United Methodist church in Mansfield, Tx at the corner of Walnut Creek Dr and Pleasant Ridge Dr. We have been chartered with First United for 34 years.

We hold weekly Den meetings on Thursday nights from 7-8 pm. And once a month we get together as a pack to fellowship and recognize our boys for their achievements.

We sponsor two campouts a year, one in the fall and one in the Spring. Our fall campout is at Loyd Park in Grand Prairie during their Halloween festival event. The give the boys hay rides around the park to trick or treat. This is an annual event for us. Our Spring campout is at a state park of choice.

Yearly, we hold our Pinewood Derby and Blue & Gold banquet and other exciting events at our monthly pack meetings.

During the summer, we attend different summer camps appropriate by age group.
